Free, open, and equal access to government information is crucial in a free society. The mission of the Frazar Memorial Library Government Documents Department is to maximize the social utility of government information to benefit the people in the 7th Congressional District of Louisiana. The goal of the Government Documents Department is to facilitate public access to government resources in all formats. As a Selective Federal Depository Library, we collect 65% of the information distributed by the U. S. Government Printing Office. As a Complete Depository for Louisiana government publications, we receive most of the information distributed by the Louisiana Recorder of Documents.
